New York-based band Sannhet start off the new week with a brooding cut off their latest album So Numb. “Fernbeds” soothes with ominous waves of noise, anchored by a thundering bass drum; the sea of sound builds and builds until it cascades with a classic post-rock crescendo, out of which a solemn guitar melody emerges, mournful yet defiant, encompassing multitudes.
